Plastic bags make great tutu

I usually take my canvas bag to F&E. But as you in the congregation know, it's really hard to stick with the list at Fresh & Easy. So I usually end up with more than one or two canvas bags can handle.

But all of those bags I saved came in handy when I have to make a costume for a Thriller performance at Earth Day Celebration at SEA Lab in Redondo Beach with Dance4Oceans.

Say hello to Plastic Trash Zombie Ballerina.

That's me and Staci, fellow dancer who is concerned about the use of plastic bags.

As you know, I'm one of the organizers of Thrill the World Los Angeles. So when Akiko at Dance4Oceans came calling for assistance, we were more than happy to help out the Plastic Trash Zombies who dance to raise awareness about all the plastic trash that ends up in the ocean, killing marine animals.

So, instead of the usual undead zombies, we were made up to look like undead sea creatures who rose from the dead to tell you about how YOUR plastic trash are kiling them.

Hopefully, people get the message.
