Giada's Beef and Butternut Squash Stew - made with 2 lbs. of beef roast and the miracle that is pre-cut butternut squash from Fresh & Easy. Verdict: Nirvana for the time saving factor alone. Seriously. The first time I made this, I spent half an hour attacking the mutther-effin' whole squash!)
Chilled bottle of Ogio Prosecco. Verdict: Earthbound. Not bad for $8.99 to drink straight up but I'd totally buy these to make bellinis and the likes.
New Year's Day Breakfast Plan
The fantastic Il Fornaio Panettone. Oh. My. GOD! This so so fluffy and delicious. It tastes so fresh, so un-boxed--unlike other panettone. Verdict: Nirvana.
