Nope. That's not a typo. It really is a swap...meat!

This Wednesday, March 28, fresh&easy is offering to swap out the ground beef you bought from another retailer, fresh or frozen, to any F&E and exchange it for a pack of their 80/20 ground beef.


I got an email from F&E CEO Tim Mason today to assure me this.

You can rest assured that we have never, would never and will never use pink slime in our ground beef.

Of course, as a fan of the store, I want YOU to find out for yourself the good stuff F&E carries. So, if you have a pack of questionable beef in your fridge/freezer, bring it out and get the slime-free stuff!

 Also a note from the FAQs: "This offer is good while supplies last and limit 1 package per person up to 2 lbs., but we will do our best to offer you a similar replacement."
